Banquet Keynote Speaker: Mellisa Hollingsworth

Location: Evergreen Park- Tech Centre

Mellisa has defined the term “hot streak” with a pivotal season leading up to the 2006 Olympic Winter Games.  She won her first World Cup and became the first Skeleton athlete in history to never finish out of the top three for the rest of the year.  Mellisa won the Overall World Cup title in 2006, and slid into a historic bronze-medal finish in Torino at the Olympic Winter Games.  With a mission of winning Olympic gold, Mellisa was on pace to achieve her goals at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games as she was the 2010 Overall World Cup Titleholder.  Mellisa finished fifth at the 2010 February Winter Olympics.  Mellisa will share with us her accomplishments and determination as she trains to chase the gold in 2014!
